Yes, the Virago was/is, a beautiful bike - but have always had a sportbike of some sort and just could not get used to the Virago cruiser-type style. |

Last time I checked, we had a 2k mile example with Termi exhaust in the local shop. Must've been an awful bad man who sent you down to that demo. NUTS |

bump for Denise for Christmas. yeah, her bike ain't a Buell, ain't even a Blast, but it's a beauty nonetheless. less than 1700 miles (!!), virtually flawless in every regard, gets about a million miles a gallon, and hey, it IS a V-twin! $2100 BadWeB price, and i'll toss in the Battery Tender the bike is always plugged in to. (speakin' of which, i wired in a sano Powerlet BMW-style power outlet on her bike. makes it one-handed easy to plug in the 'tender, or power up heated gear, cell phone, etc.) the 250 Virago consistently did/does well in the comparos against other 250-cc bikes, and her Virago is as close to brand-new as you'll find on a (gently) used bike, for well over a thousand bucks less than new. just sayin'. Happy Holidays, y'all. FB |

FB, I'd e-mail the instructors at Virginia Western Community College and see if they know of anyone with an interest in such a bike. This is the location of the Roanoke rider training program. Might want to check with New River Valley CC too. Though the bike is in Jacksonville, right? Just postulating the morning away. NUTS |

yep, it's in Florida now, with a friend. we figured it'd be easier to sell it down there, way more population density, better riding climate this time of year. thx for the suggestions. hey, a license plate suggestion for your new Uly: BAD NUTS

Actually I was thinking GOS211 If you can figure it out I owe you a hand rolled Little Havana'an. We call 'em cuban sandwhich's, little bit of everything and oh so fine. There also sits a mighty impressive XR1200 at the Roanoke store. One in Chritiansburg too. I am quite impressed with that bike. NUTS |

This is good news . . . frankly after seeing Denise aboard her VFR for so many year I was struggling with the mental Virago image. I can deal with the Denise as a passenger on a Road King but . . . . but only cause I know she's a great rider in her own right and just doing it outta love.

The VFR was the best bike I've had - sat down and cried when it went down the road with it's new owner - but $ for down on the Dome took priority. SV650 Well, NOW, it's time for me to go shopping. |
