Anyone know if the footpeg lowering kit that I have read about for the S2 is still available and if it would fit a 2000 S3T? Any input greatly appreciated. |

Gary, What you want are the pieces that mount the foot pegs to the frame for an S2T. They are more of an "L" shape. I bought a set last year from a Buell dealer for my X1, they should fit any tuber. Be warned, they are pricey and for some strange reason one side is more expensive then the other. |

Thanks Bob, Did they make much difference? I have a 34" inseam and would like a little more legroom. Do you still have the part numbers handy that you could post by any chance? Thanks for the quick feedback. |

I also have a 34" inseam, it only lowers the pegs maybe an inch, but made a big difference on my X1. Sorry, I don't have the parts #'s but the parts are easy to spot in the exploded view in the S2T parts catalog. The parts counter should have a copy. |

If you post in "Old School" I'm sure someone here has the parts #'s. |

I fit on my S2 perfectly with the drop mounts. Love 'em, and I also have a 34" inseam. Not as roomy as my '06 Uly with stock (tall) seat....but a very comfy bike for all-day rides. AND - if you go to a track day and want more clearance, just loosen them up, turn them around, and you have a 1" raise to your pegs |

Thanks Guys, I found what I think is the correct part number (50574-94Y). I assume you have to adjust the shift & rear brake levers to account for the lower height? Listed as $ 146.00 , but I don't know how accurate the info is on the online catalog. |

Not sure about the part number (my h-dnet password is acting up), but yes, an adjustment is required once they're installed. There's enough range of adjustment, though, that I was able to go from using the brackets in the raised position, to using them in the lowered position, with just the adjuster settings on the controls. No longer/shorter pieces are required. |

They are not sold as a set. There should be 2 part #'s, one for the left & another for the right. |

So That's $146.00 per side?!!!! I guess I will have to put it a little further down on my priority list. |
