Joe, Is it the one in your profile? How much for all the bodywork including the fenders? And the oil tank? I can't afford the wheels but I'll ask how much anyway. |

Joe, Why are you parting it out? I know at least one person that will be looking for an S2 in the spring. Will you clear more than $3500 - $4000 parting it out? Just curious. |

If he can sell the engine for around $2500 and can sell the rest of the parts if they are in decent condition he should clear $4000, but selling the engine is the key as I found in my case with the M2. Sometimes you do what you gotta do. |

Yes, it is the bike in the profile...and as much as I hate to part with this bike, the prices that folks are paying and getting for spares does make sense...I am only missing the stock wiring harness to make this truly streetable..and I don't have the time.Going by e-bay prices: Wheels PM Chicane that are no longer made go for usually 5-600, complete motors typically around $2500, full set of good bodywork 4-600,WP front forks 3-500,fuel tanks 50-100, aluminum oil tanks 50-100, complete titled frame w/swingarm and mounting block 500 and up..here's 4200 using the low numbers and not including the little pieces..gauges,pegs,dash,lights,carb,pullys, etc. If someone wants to put it together I'll let it go for $4600 and I'll take care of the shipping? |

2003 XB9R parts All parts are from a salvage bike with 830 miles on the clock. Complete set of blue bodywork - not pretty but would be great for a track set. All pieces have some scuff damage but are very usable. Take off your good stuff while your at the track, just in case. Rather sell everything as a complete set, but will separate. Showa Inverted Front forks ($530 new, will sacrifice) Frt caliper and master cylinder($320 new, will sacrifice) Rear master cylinder & Caliper Frame (dented, but straight will sell cheap) Swingarm w/brace (scratches on left rear by axle) Stock muffler (two small dents in front underside) Showa Rear shock (perfect) OEM Dunlop D207 tires (special), frt. & rear. (almost like new) Instrument/Guage assembly (shows 830 miles) Crankshaft/rods assy. Transmission mainshaft & countershaft w/gearset Shifter forks, shafts and shift cam Rotor /stator Starter assy. Primary cover Cam gearcase cover Fuel Injectors w/Induction module assy. clutch assy. primary chain All the above are in good usable condition Parts listed below need repair Engine Cases (need repair of left mainshaft and countershaft transmission bearing mounts. I have a quote to repair for $250). Cases list for $758 Both Cylinders (std, need bore job) Lots of other misc. XB parts, let me know what your looking for. Any reasonable offer accepted, or ask for a price. Will send pictures of any parts upon request. email dave@go-comptech.com, or 216-272-0822 |

Joe, that's One Gorgeous Thunderbolt. seems a shame to part it out. as memory serves there were (officially) only 2147 S2/S2T Thunderbolts ever made. if i had the pockets to match my passion, i'd be buying every one i could get my hands on, while they're still cheap. it won't ALWAYS be that way... Here's the photos of my M2 muffler for sale. It has some Seattle road grime on it that the pictures really pick up on. It's just dirt, clean it off and it looks good. The small dent on the bottom is hardly worth mentioning. Make me an offer. It's just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Buyer pays shipping. Thanks! jeff@jefflaplante.com
