As some of you may know, I enjoy the process of getting Buells that are in fair/good/great condition but need detailing and tuning... then bringing the bike back to (near) new condition... then seeing it go to someone that really appreciates what they are. This process allows me to buy/try different Buell's. Also, I feel that I'm helping out with the preservation of classic Buells. Lack of cosmetic and mechanical maintenance can really take a toll on a motorcycle. I do not sell to people that want to use these bikes for chopper projects... nothing against choppers... go do it to a Sportster... there's millions of them. Anyway... here is the description and picture. 2002 Buell X1W in excellent condition and well mantained. Runs strong and shifts smoothly. Last year of the X1 tube frame model. The X1 White Lightning was a limited addition release. Completely stock and only has 5350 miles. Adult owned. Previous owner was a female riding instructor. The 2002 models came with stock with improved isolator mounts, exhaust header mount and fully adjustable rear shock. Recent oil, transmission and brake fluid change and primary chain adjusted. By 2002, Buell resolved all the fuel injection issues that plagued the previous X1 models. Factory blue ceramic coated headers are starting to show signs of age but still look good and have no dents. Own a piece of American motorcyle history. Bike lives in a climate controlled garage. For more information call: 617-775-0239. Cool ass link Jeremy, That 66 Triumph looks exactly like the one I lost under an 18 wheeler flat-bed on the San Bernardino freeway, it was 1977,and it was my third year on that bike(didn't have a car), I was REAL biker trash! Thanks for the tripp back! BTW that second suzuki is a KTM 200 I believe. |
