One of the best Buell shirts of all time (and to this day I marvel at how it got past legal) was the Red S-1 with my brother doing the mondo wheelie. Quickly sold out and were forever lost to the legends of Buell history...I still have one but it's worn, tattered and has a derogatory comment (one of many) that Erik wrote on it while the 3 of us were out riding one day. I'm all over the idea of an S-1 shirt with a catchy slogan like "legends never die" or better yet, how about we steal from Todd Rundgren "but a thong lives on forever". Great stuff!  | ||

You know Court that must be a great feeling out riding presumably on an S1 with your friends on their's too, especially when one of those friends created the beast. Keep talking the S1 up and I might fall for mine again <grin>. I collect her tomorrow and will start work on rebuilding her soon. Does the passion ever die? You tell me. It's interesting to note the depth of peoples feelings towards the S1's. It's still a killer bike and one much deserving of cult status of which I'm in no doubt it has already achieved, just some biking people haven't realized it yet. Their loss. I may have been a little fickle recently, thinking of buying a Brutale, getting rid of the Buell and all, but I think I'll keep mine now. I've really missed her. Rocket  | ||

In case anyone's interested I may have a race muffler for sale soon. This is the polished ceramic version from the XB12 race kit. It has a very nice finish that must be seen to be appreciated.
