I am selling an adult owned 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt. I have a new Gustaffson windscreen on order that is included in the sale! The bike only has 8000 miles and has always been garaged and oil has been changed every 1000 miles. The previous owner installed a mild cam, Screaming Eagle black box (which, along with the cam allow for higher RPMs)and a Supertrapp exhaust. The bike was tuned up in late June that included new rear brake pads, new battery, and Michelin tires front and back. I bought it over 3 years ago from the second owner (I believe), who was a Harley aficionado. He was in his late 50s and it only had 3600 when I bought it from him. I am selling due to a third baby (reluctantly). |

I know I speak for many when I say - what color is it, and do you have any pictures? Us S2'ers are a pretty focused bunch, lol |

Its snap red. The quality of the pics isn't that great. More can be seen on craigslist in Boston. Thanks

Oddly enough my parents live in Augusta, but I don't have any plans to be down there soon. Fly up and bike back... thanks Matt. Ramsey |

Hmmmm....if only my wife wouldn't kill me. Already have *one* red snap '95 in the garage, and since I'm still recovering from my wreck, buying yet another bike probably isn't the best idea. Truly gorgeous bike, though. Hope someone on here gives it a good home, as a complete bike and not a "chopper" |

I'm driving from Maine to Yorktown, VA and Charleston, SC in about 2 weeks. Maybe we could work something out as far as transport? PM me if you're seriously interested. (Message edited by puddlepirate on August 31, 2008) |

My pleasure. I'll just have to work out some logistics before I can give a definite yes. I live in South Portland, so I'm only a couple hours away from you. |

PP, as soon as you ride it, you're gonna want one! LOL. At least that's what happened to me.. I rode Aaron's "slightly" modified S2T (106 RWHP) and fell in love. |

You are correct about that. I am conflicted about selling it. I might argue that just starting it, listening to it, and staring at it would be addictive enough. |

Matt, I'll need an answer within the next couple of days so I can get a trailer for this. I'll send you a PM with my phone number on it so we can talk. Rich |

Ramsey, I believe you are more spot-on than I was. After running into a '96 S2T today and looking at it next to mine in the parking lot, I'm already swaying away from my thoughts of a full fairing. These bikes just have so much beauty from the factory, ya know? |

Hey Phelan, These bikes came out of the factory with soul, kind of a reflection of the whole Buell process then. Hand built, unique exhaust and shock positioning, engine idle and exhaust note atypical for a sport bike, with plenty of engine visibility. They look compact and stout, sound raw and mean, but handle like they are on rails. Yep, very conflicted.... |
