I have a 2005 XB9r. 3k miles. Oil/trans fluid changed twice. New Pirelli scorpion sycs. Race air filter. Runs great. Some cosmetic issues. $3,955 if I put new plastics on, detail it, $3,000 as is. Here are pics. I'm gonna make a youtube of it before it goes to Ebay. I also have Continental airline connections, so you could fly to EWR for $125 each way (i know, not a great deal, but cheaper than booking and can leave anytime). I just won an auction for new red plastics on Ebay, so cosmetic issues may be a thing of the past. However the price goes up by 955 then... FWIW, the headers and muffler have been sprayed with matte silver high heat, anti-rust paint. They look really good. Most issues are from a failed attempt at a repaint/scratch repair. Unless you're gonna have the plastics sanded hard and custom painted, you need new ones (unless you don't mind an uneven paint surface). Bike's been down: Light scratches on the bar ends/clutch lever/scoop Very small dents in muffler bottom - no holes Chip in fairing frame (turn signal corner, repaired to order with Mighty Putty and shaped  Passenger footpeg scratched Spring from clutch side footpeg missing and replaced with makeshift recoil Shift peg scratched Dirty rims Blown right blinker bulb (housing is fine) Could use new windscreen Small amount of paint spray residue on upper forks That's about it! LOL. Seriously though, I'll miss her very much. But I want an 1125r. Nothing is better around town/commuting to NYC! (Message edited by clarkjw on August 26, 2008) | ||

Clark, sounds real tempting, will you take some shots for me, I will PM you in the AM, long day framing today for a neighbor... I prefer living up here in the Aidrondacks, some killer roads. Don't know if I could do NYC, left the beach after a long time to get away from all the cages with only the scooter and a couple of 4WD trucks for the 16 feet of snot.. LOL | ||

$3,000 if you pick it up in NYC, Newark NJ Airport (EWR) or at my house in Montclair, NJ - 17 miles from NYC. AS IS. All cosmetic issues noted above will not be fixed. The bike will cost $3955 if I put new plastics and stickers on it, fix other cosmetic issues noted above, and wash/detail it. This price would not include shipping. You'd pick up in the New York City area. Shipping will be between $125 and $800, depending on the cost and effort involved.
