I'm kinda fishing here. There was a boo-boo with my motor rebuild. I will have a set of STOCK CYLINDERS BORED AND HONED TO MATCH 3.563" HURRICANE PISTONS. These are off a 2000 X1 with 16k miles before the bore. These are NOT NRHS cylinders. I got wrong sized pistons (communication error - nobody's fault) and the shop rebuilding the motor cut to fit. While I was talking to the guys at the shop we figured out what happened. So is anyone interested in stock cylinders bored .060 over? This is the same size as a 1250 kit. The drawback is that by doing this to stock cylinders it runs the risk of running too hot and weakening the spigots. This is my daily driver, so off they come. They may not be bad for racing.... If anyone is interested, contact me here or PM me. Shoot me an offer, anything reasonable (for both parties) will be accepted.}} |

Cylinders are no good. Engine builders have told me that .030-.040 over is it. Nothing more. Sorry, BR. |
