So I have my 1981 Vette that is taking up too much room in my garage. So I really want a more space saving toy or toys... I am looking to really trade it for an 1125R BUT I will take ANY Buell in trade (I need to expand the collection). Here is the craigslist add. If anyone is interested I will transport the Vette ANYWHERE in the lower 48. I need a road trip anyway! Greg, I am asking $12,900 I am fairly flexible. Car is appraised at 15,000 and I have close to 3 grand in extras that would go with the car for the 12,900 pricetag. Extras include a complete fuel injection setup, second set of T-tops (mirrored), front suspension rebuild kit, and more. | ||

Greg, If it helps matters at all, the car isn't supposed to be red. The color code on the car is 74M (Dark Bronze Poly) which only 431 cars were painted that color in 1981. Somewhere along its life someone liked red more. It was a very professional job that was done almost makes me think they pulled the body off to do the paint job. I was going to repaint it but I have put less than 100 miles on the car in the last 2 years so I just cant justify it. Thanks for keeping me in mind! Bads1 Its a Blue R1 (go figure a blue Yamaha) It has the GYT-R exhaust, power commander, C.F. front fender, tail eliminator (plus all stock parts as well). The R1 has 4300 miles (currently) and will have a set of new rubber on her before I part ways with it. Spiderman, how did your predicament fair with your bike? Dana, I am afraid the R1 won't last in my garage. I was wanting to keep the R1 for a track bike but I am thinking the other two Buells in the garage will become territorial and the R1 just wont fit in. So anything is possible once I take the R1 in trade. | ||
