A friend of mine lost his CF airbox cover(don't ask) and is racing at Road America this weekend 7/4,5,6. he will be at the homecoming as well showing his bike sans a CF airbox cover. He can travel within 60 or 70 miles of the Road America track to pick one up. Any assistance greatly appreciated. |

I've got one of the Chinese airbox covers on my bike and I beg to differ with your opinion. I'm in New Berlin if you want to drop by to take a look at it. I've also got the chin spoiler, air intake and a prototype Uly windscreen on my bike. The carbon fiber work is very nice. For the money you won't come anywhere near the quality of the stuff from China. The only issue I had with this stuff was that I (too) had to open up the mounting holes in the airbox cover as they only provide pilot holes. I've got pictures, but the files are too large to post here. |

I've seen it shredded (especially at the mounting holes, seen poor workmanship and heard of how it was manufactured. I was soured on it, but who knows? I may have seen a bad batch. I have the carbon fiber from Al and wouldn't think twice about buying it again. shoot me an email with the pics if you can. john.heibler@messer-mg.com |
