2005 Buell XB12R Firebolt. Black and gold. Tank mask. 3993 miles. Race kitted. Polished header. 2007 inner airbox. Dunlop 616 Uly tires with less than 1000 miles. Select/Touring seat. Lightning pegs. Traction grips. Tail bag. 2008 kickstand, pin, & mount.

Got an X-1 I ride a whole lot more than this. Had it since Nov 2005, I bought it wrecked, used all new parts to repair it. Wanting a Harley Super Glide Sport FXDX, will trade with some cash or sell it out right for $5000.
In Tulsa, OK.

Hi Neil.

Knew I could count on you to help out a fellow Bueller. How ya been ?

It does sound like a nice trip, Tulsa to Tampa. And believe it or not i`m selling one of the S1`s. I still can`t believe it myself.
It`s getting pried out of the garage (aka The Shop) by a friend of mine who wants to get back into riding.

HMMMMM just shopping around a little.

Medic,

Hey, after riding around on my XB9S, I always wanted to try out the 12R. If I could only find someone who wants my bike, I would gladly buy yours!

There are tons of people buying bikes right now, good market. I don't really want to sell mine, but,(always a but) I found a Super Glide I REALLY want, and, I usually end up riding my X-1.

She's paid for, and doesn't eat much, so if she doesn't go, I'll just wait until I find a wrecked Dyna Super Glide.

Let me know, you can come and take her for a spin, see if you like the 'R' or not.

medic, have you ever ridden a superglide. we had a 2000 of which we bought to get the wife riding and i honestly have to tell you that it was neither a good starter bike for the wife(found out the hard way)but i couldn't ride that thing 100 miles without it killing my back because your slouched on it if your around 5'8". personally, i wouldn't ever get another one. if you want something that handles great and do a long run on go with the least a road king. i would rather do a long trip on the firebolt than the superglide. try and put some miles on it before you decide. just my opinion.

Thanks for the intel, I just really wanted one of those 35th Anniversary Super Glides(Red White & Blue) because my dad has an original '71(the boat tail/original night train in Gleaming America colors). I am 6' tall, did you try different bars or seat?

I got a softail that I bought wrecked:

I was just wanting one, if I found one to borrow for a day or two, I might change my mind, but alas, no place to rent one in Oklahoma, to the best of my knowledge. So, I was thinking Super Glide Sport, black motor, better forks and shocks, then add a '72 Super Glide paint scheme(black red & blue, midnight express). Because the FXD35i was a $5000 paint job. I dig the stars & stripes #1 emblem, gives it that Evel Knievel feel.

Your're probably right I'll regret it, I miss my XB9S-X, after it, I wish I had an XB12S to 'X' up.

never tried a different seat. i just know the seating position wasn't for me on it. i've realized i either have to be straight up or leaning forward a little. don't even know if i'd be able to ride an r for very long being that much forward. i can understand about the look of the 35th. one good looking bike. good luck

As for shipping this bike, I am out. Sorry, had a previous bike I sold, and shipped then when it arrived at it's new home the shipping went from $600 to $2000. That guy is still fighting with the shipping company. I'd bring her within a few hundred miles for the price of fuel for my pickup.

That's a gorgeous bike, is it still for sale? It's a little far from here, but we could probably work something out.
