The is one on consignment at American Harley/Buell in Tonawanda, NY. It's not close to you, but it is a sweet looking bike. A little pricey at $6K. But, has had a lot of extra's done. Triple white, w/blue powdercoating on the engine jugs. It can be seen on their web site, under used bikes. If you want it I'll ride it down for Biketoberfest for ya! |

Matt: You'll love it. Not only is it a fun bike to ride but it is one of the better looking Buells ever built. . absoulutely stunning. I found, while digging through the old pics yesterday, photos of the first couple "proof of concept" vehicles sitting (along with the molten orange and blue S-1) on a stand in R&D. I'm partial to white vehicles, but I was stunned the first time I saw it. I have a case of the original catalogs somewhere if you get the bike and need one. Court |

Ive been thinking about selling mine. Ive got some feelers out there. I want a newer Buell and Im not real hung up on the collectability thing. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa70/barthautal a/DSCF1766.jpg If you look down on the lower pipe you can see some scrapeage. I bit it hard on a gravel driveway while it still had the stock air box. Thats the only thing that saved the paint. I still have the stock air box and its scraped up too. The tank has been painted once because the Buell stickers on the tank all bubbled up and I wanted to replace them. Pipe is a V&H SS2r. Carbs been jetted to accomodate. Bike has 6800 miles. I also put on a twin tail from the factory with factory paint. And swapped out the OE fender for a shorty and moved the plate to under the seat. |

Here is a craigs list add I just found good luck: Ice White Pearl 1998 Buell S1 White Lightning and it only has 8,000 miles on it. It is one of the first 29 produced as demo bikes for HD/Buell VIPs. Purchased in 1998 with less than 500 miles on it. Erik Buell has ridden and signed it (as well as several other parts/tee shirts/ball caps etc. that go with it). It is a great bike and it is in excellent condition. Modifications: The heads were ported and polished by Nallin Racing, The carburetor is jetted, Screaming Eagle "Q" ignition, Added primary chain tensioner, Supertrapp 2.5" exhaust. Asking blue book retail including all of the extras (tank bag, cover, exhaust, leather jacket, etc.). KBB Summary: 1998 Buell S1 White Lightning 2-Cylinder 4-Stroke 1203cc Suggested Retail Value $4885 It needs some minor work that I was planning to do before I sold it but I would consider a reasonable offer as is.
