Hey there all, I just put down my beloved S2 when a firetruck entered aan intersection against the light . I could get her stopped in time as with a helmet on, I didnt hear them untill they were there. And then they added insult to injury by leaving the scene. Oh well, I really wasnt hurt except my heart. She's a pearl white '95 that I love, but now the fairnigs busted pretty good and the left tranny cover (just the inset) is gouged up. I am looking for a pearl fairing, or one to paint I guess. thanks, JM |

good news is except the fairing, the other parts are super cheap and easy to find, just go to ebay and search sportster.... or infact any harley in the same era for the hand controls.... they are the same....as is the derby cover the same as all sportsters.... you can even get one that says live to ride, roflmao |

the actual color would be called "ice white pearl". I'll keep an eye on this thread, if you can't find a fairing the same color as your bike, I have a red snap fairing in good condition that you can have painted... B |

Both the factory and Al at American Sport Bike have new front fairings available for the S2. IIRC the front "BUELL" decal is also still available from the factory. Bartimus - if you ever "need" to get rid of that front fairing, keep me in mind. My bare S2 frame is gradually accumulating parts - so far I have the tank cover, ground strap, front rotor and rear caliper to go with it. I'm "getting there", LOL! |

Rat, what color bodywork were you thinking of? I've got 4 sets of body work and only 3 S2's... I'm thinking of selling my red snap set of bodywork. It has some slight damage on the left side of the fairing by the mirror, and a small chunk missing from the front fender when the bike slid over in the back of the truck on the way to NRHS. I can probably help you out with part of the exhaust, I had a D&D slip on donated to me when my V&H failed on my way home from the Dragon one year. If you want it, you can have it for the cost of shipping... |

I have pearl white tank and tail section. They're not in the best condition but their ok if you're not looking for perfect. I'll take pics this weekend when I pull her out to start her up after sitting for awhile. There is a crack in the fiberglass in 2 spots. |
