I listed my used Drummer muffler on E-Bay and the auction will start at 7PM Pacific time. I bought the muffler from this site's classifieds with some dents in it. I fixed the dents and ran this muffler only to find out it is way too loud for me. I've listed it on E-bay "buy-it-now" for what I paid for it with shipping. $250 plus shipping if anyone is interested. First to do the Buy-it-now, gets it. Figured this is the most fair way to sell this. I got a good deal on this pipe and am just passing it on to the next guy. (Message edited by prowler on April 13, 2008) |

You bought it here on this sight and you want to be fair and then put on Ebay to tell everyone you can buy it there?? |

It's always kinda ticked me off when I've looked on this site when I get home at the end of the work day only to find out a bunch of really cool stuff has been sold to guys that can sit and hawk the site all day long. Figured this gives everyone interested the same shot, no? The guys on this forum are the first and only ones notified about it before hand and there is obviously some amount of protection for the buyer and seller using E-Bay (a major concern for me as a buyer based on past website/forum transactions!) No loss for any of the guys on this forum, they'll obviously have first shot at it, and if the price is too high for anyone here, they can bid on it and it will sell for what it sells for. Either way, I'm not looking to make a damn nickel on this thing. Just would like to get most of my funds back, if possible. If you think this is unfair (and you're certainly entitled to your opinion), by all means, don't buy it. |

I would do the exact same thing. He is giving first dibs, and if you want to strike a deal PM him. |

I bought it and just realized it was for a 12. Does it matter? If it does I might have a drummer for sale. |

it doesn't matter if it's for a 12 or 9. It will work. |

I thought the inlit was a different diameter from a 9 to a 12 |

nope. same size. the diameter of the pipes are different, but the collector is the same size on both. |

From what I understand, the internal volume of the pipe is different between the 9 and the 12 on the Drummer. KD Fab tuned the two pipes for the different flow characteristics of the two engines. |
