For sale is the gas tank cover, front fender and lower chin fairing of my 2002 Buell X1 Lightning. Other than a small nic in the plastic on the front fender and the attempt to paint the tank cover satin black, these parts are in good condition. I have had them in storage for about a year now indoors and they are just a little dusty and dirty from riding. Please PM or e-mail me an offer Thank you for looking! Nick

Thanks Nick! I got the fender all marked up to chop it this afternoon, a lot more spots than I mentioned. I also took off the reflectors before I left Lubbock ;). I'll shoot ya a pic when I get the front end together. |

I know it's already sold, but I'm just curious. Do you know if the chin spoiler is bolted to the motor or the frame? I have a 'nutha idea ... |

I was thinking of re-engineering one onto my sportster. I'm almost done BTW. Just waiting on my top end to come back from NRHS. It turns out my STD heads needed new valve guides and seats, and the heads had to be welded up to drill the breathers in the right place. |

Unfortunately not. I was hoping to, but NRHS isn't done with my top end yet, and the only assembly I'm not doing myself (cam swap) can't be done by my mechanic 'til next week, and it'll be the following week before I have time to reassemble it. |
