Yea I'm ok! Thanks for asking! Severely sprained wrist, road rash on the ole knees, whole body feels sore for like 7+ days!
Just a quick look away and some guy stopped half in the turn lane with his ass sticking out in my lane. I put the binders on and tried to swerve but it was too late. He was dead stopped. I hit the right rear of his POS and went over the bars. Happened faster than you could say ^%$#@!! I was doing maybe 35-40 mph I flew through the air with the greatest of ease. Boy that leather jacket she bought me really cuts the wind!!! I'm kinda pissed but also EXTREMELY GRATEFUL that I had on PROPER GEAR!!!! I've ridden bikes for 25+ yrs and will not ride asphalt without my LEATHERS!!! I just think off all the rides I've had and how much the road rash on my knees really ^%$#@ing HURTS!! Thanks for your concern and keep your eye out for me some parts!! Not sure what the side rails are called??!Or if I should upgrade with some carbon fiber parts. Any suggestions?? U in TPA?

P.S. nice carbon!! Gear up people!! Its gonna happen...

That rear section is your sub frame. Glad you are OK for the most part. All the gear all the time, I believe in it!

Is the sub frame different on a Lightning vs a firebolt??? Where can I find part #s or diagrams @??\ clipart{biggrin}

I also got extremely lucky with the bike. Chewed up pretty good but no frame/fork/or severe damage after some new parts. Very suprised @ how well these bikes crash considering I had frame pucks. Needed to have axle sliders but got lucky there. Axle sliders will go on before other parts for sure.

Still looking for Select seat, Plastics any color, left side headlight mount, right and left hand controls, battery pan, shift pedal assy, left rider and pass footpegs, right and left tail section, tail light center piece w/or without cheesegrater, bar ends for 1" bars, master cylinder cover, fork sliders, swingarm sliders, Rizoma risers, black pro taper contour handlebars, would consider carbon bodywork....Thanks for looking!!!
