okay here's the deal...i was bike-less for about a year when i started at looking into getting a new Suzuki GSXR after looking for a while i decided i didn't want a bike payment for the next few years, so i passed on the new bike and about a month later i came across this in the local auto-locator in June of this year, i loved it so i drove 2 hours and picked it up. Got it home and spent a full day waxing and polishing it, i rode it to work all summer putting 1,200 miles on it. In July i stumbled across a '67 Triumph Bonneville Chop that i couldn't pass up so i got it also, So perfect...i have a Buell for Long distance trips and the Trumpet for local jaunts...Well then just last month i decided to post my vw on a site called VW Vortex and i was offered a 2003 GSXR 750 for my car even up...well i really didn't need another bike but this one only had 3,200 miles on it and was like new yet so needless to say i traded the guy and got the bike i originally wanted. I would love to keep them all but is just not possible right now...I love the S2 and it runs excellent but the GSXR is unbeleivable so the Buell has got to go...here are some pics of the scuffs that i spoke of, one is on the tail section by the lock, and one on the right mirror...Lets get this SOLD

Hey Ratb......How many beers would it take for you to go get it, "spank it",recall it, sneak the old shock out back for safety reasons,,, stick it on an HD crate and swooooooooosh it up north...Has the dealer ship ever done so? I no they can be shipped on an open HD crate. I shipped a Honda CT125 across canada like that...Stretch wrapped it on an HD crate...Made it there perfecto in 3 days by transport....$250.00 |

I think I can get it palletized and strapped for free, but I'd have to check. Recalls should be no problem, I'll run the list again and make sure all parts kits are available still. And I'm 99% sure the shock would have to go back, sorry We've organized some independent shippers before, IIRC its $400 or so to the Mississippi, $700-800 to the west coast from here. If you do a search for motorcycle shipping on the web, you can narrow it down. Your departure would be from a forklift (we can load) in 21704 For the beers....I figure I'm shipping you a pallet full of something, you can send me a pallet full of brews, right? LOL! |

RatBuell, I am in South GA. (Valdosta) Let me know if you got the ball park on that for shipping... Also... Can you perform the recalls BEFORE its to be shipped ie... check over the bike for needed repairs.. attention etc...?? Thanks as I am VERY interested. Matt. |

I'll help anyone out I can. The only thing I'm worried about is wanting to keep it for myself, LOL. If anyone wants to figure shipping costs, just do a search for "motorcycle shipping" and pick from the companies. We've worked with a bunch here and unfortunately I don't have any names...but draining it and strapping it to a pallet is no problem. It would be leaving from ZIP code 21704, and we have the ability to load the pallet. Plug that, and your destination (check with your local dealer to see if they'd be willing to accept delivery) into one of the shippers websites and go from there And we can definitely perform the recalls. I just checked and all parts are still available. If a buyer wants we can also go over the bike and make sure it's in good operating condition, but I'm sure it is given the number of miles the owner says he put on it this season. |

Yeah, I am in the same boat. I expect a big bonus in Jan and if the bike is still on the market I may have to buy it. Of course I will have to store it until I can break it to the other half that I bought yet another Buell. I got off easy with the XB, the S2 and the S1W because she got a Nightster and now wants a Blast. I am thinking maybe I should lower it and paint Blast on the tank. I wonder if she would notice. I was really hoping someone on the BadWeb would buy this fine machine. BTW: I did not go through the whole thread but you might want to mention if you have the signature series cover and documentation or not.... Frank |

I want it...but my wallet says otherwise and I won't insult you with what I can afford to pay for something right now. Wifey and I bought a piece of land with a 150 year old cabin on it to rehab and move into... 5 year plan. But if it helps you any, I reallyreallyreally want that bike, LOL. |

Write me the check, I'll put the bike up Although, there are no mantels at the moment. Looks like it had three woodstoves in 2 chimneys, but no fireplace. And I'm still trying to figure out the third chimney in the attic that doesn't show anywhere down below, inside or out. <shrug> |

Rat....That 3rd chimney is actually a 150 year old time capsul...It has a stash of gold in it and note sayin..."Go buy me a 1995 s2 from PA".....Or maybe there is a Western Union Money order in it from Nigeria for $3500.00.....Or maybe......LOL...Hb,,,,,, |

GTI.....Hey man..I really thought ur bike woulda sold already here...I no the interest is high on it, but Xmas interups alot of cash flow for folks... Not sure what ur response would be on ebay...Plus the fees just sem to be getting larger there every day... As siad before, if It was an easy task to get it to canada, I would jump in , just to save it from any hackers... Im sure with patience it will sell here sooner or later.... Maybe Post ur best CASH price here before ya ebay it...It just might tempt someone to open there stash up....Good Luck Bro...Hankb.. |
