Disassembled S1W motor. Bought it off ebay 2 years ago. Had entire tranny gone through. New 5th gear, new main shaft and bearings. Bored sensor hole for electronic pickup for speedometer. Started up and it had a slight knock in the front rod. I took it to a Certified Harley/Buell mechanic and he said it sounded like they all do. I rode it for 150 miles and it never got worse. I decided to change the oil and noticed some small metallic debrise. So I parked it...removed the motor ...sold the roller. And here it sits. I tore it down to the case and it feels like the front rod is loose ever so slightly. It ran strong...I just didnt want to risk wasting it. the motor was supposed to have around 4500 miles on it. $1250 | ||
