'95 Buell S2 in PHX, AZ. TAKE THE WHOLE BIKE FOR $3000!! OR... Parting Out Motor and Tranny $2000 PM Wheels, PM brakes and WP upside-down Forks $1000. All factory updates have been done (front brake line, swingarm, fuel tank, rear shock...) less than 5k miles ago. I have a valid AZ salvage title for the bike as it was laid over on it's right side. I've decided to sell/part out my '95 Buell S2 (1200 Sportster motor) and buy a complete Sporty (the missus hates the Buell seat and also has an un-natural attraction to chrome. Whatever...). The motor and transmision are good runners with about 25k miles on it. The motor was undamaged internally when I was side-swiped in April, but there are a couple of dings on the primary cover and some real small ones on the cam cover. The tail section is only cracked, the tank cover and front fender might be repairable if you know a fibreglass wizard. Motor and tranny come with stator, starter, ignition trigger and a carb. Pretty much a bolt-in and run. The front end appears straight. It's a White Power upside-down unit with new bushings in a bag (I ordered them a while ago and never put them in, about $75 worth). The front brake rotor doesn't feel warped, it's the updated version and has less than 3k miles on it. Wheels and front brake caliper are PM, they have a couple of small dings but no dents. Tires are Avon Azaro radials (120-17 front and 180-17 rear) and still have good tread. I'll throw in a new unmounted Azaro rear with these (there's $150 right there). I can send pics of any and all parts. I have excellent feedback on ebay under 'Road Weazel'. Send me an email at glockweazel@yahoo.com if you're interested. Thanx. Colin |

Same Buell S2, left side. My knee (I think) cracked the tank cover on this side. It's fine over here other than that. Thanx again. Colin |

Pilk - I saw your note to Mikej about your electraglide. I have a '91 RS with S2T bodywork & Aero charger that I have considered trading for a E-Glide. I don't wish to horn in on any on-going transaction, but thought it better to speak now rather than forever hold my piece. Al |

Still have the S2, waffling on what I want to do with it. Al, if you can work a deal then go for it, gots my steel toed shoes on today so step right in with no worries. Would be nice if two badwebbers got together on this deal. If I remember right Pilk had a sidecar and possibly a trailer to go with the Shovelhead, and the engine had some S&S internals incorporated into it. Pilk, did I remember right? I finally sent you a monster e-mail last night. If you can work a deal with Al then go for it. But both of you have to post another pic of your bikes in the mean time. |
