Was this a Buell factory/custom paint scheme? There is a nearly identical bike for sale on ebay as parts.

That was a limited edition paint scheme which included the tail, tank cover, fender, flyscreen and chin fairing. They sold the package in around 2000 and I beleive they ran off 50 copies.

I'll step in and say this is a SHARP looking bike! Saw it when he stopped by my place on a damned near cross country trip. Super clean, sounded awesome and that paint is just captivating. As for making it to Ohio, I'd be willing to bet yes. And if you need to stop for a bit in Colorado, you (and the bike) are welcome to my air mattress

Riding it back may not be feasible. I'm sure I could get the time off, but 2k in two days is quite a haul. I would have to fly there, ride it back. I'm looking at alternate methods. I really falling fast for the X1s.
