2005 Buell XB9SX Lightning CityX Please see the information about the bike below: + 984 cc V-Twin + 19,717 miles + Meticulously maintained by me and Schaeffer's Harley Davidson/Buell in Orwigsburg, PA. All documentation and receipts are available. + Garage kept + Erik Buell signature obtained in Rahway, NJ. Somewhat faded. + One owner, me + Never dropped, stunted, or in an accident. I had to be very careful with the bike because I never had collision insurance. + Never beat or raced. At the last group ride I went on people were talking about bouncing the bike off of the rev limiter. I have never done this because it can't be good for an engine to run like that. + Buell Race Kit (includes Race ECM, K&N air filter, and a Drummer exhaust). You can not purchase the Race ECM any longer. This bike sounds amazing! Not obnoxious, more like a muscle car from the 70s. You have to hear it to truly enjoy it. The installation of this kit seems contradictory to the line above, but it is recommended to install the race kit if using an aftermarket exhaust. Basically, I just wanted it to sound better. + Inspected until August 2008 + Brand new front and rear Pirelli Scorpion Sync tires on August 25. They have about 65 miles on them. + Custom tail section made by me to eliminate the "pasta strainer". Slight paint chip. Check BadWeatherBikers on the web for a description. + Shortened turn signals on the front. + Third Eye bar end mirrors. + Airbox cover (where the gas tank is on a normal motorcycle) is painted flat black. Slight gas spots from fill up. Touch it up with flat black paint and your ready to ride. + No chrome. You don't have to waste time polishing it, you can just go ride it. + Flyscreen is painted with LineX paint, which is like a textured truck bed liner paint. Every modification to this bike was done on spare parts. I have every original part as you can see in the picture below. + Original Hero Translucent Blue airbox cover and flyscreen. Again very minor gasoline hazing in a few spots. + Passenger footpegs + Stock XB9SX air filter with roughly 8,000 miles on it. + Stock XB12 air filter. Brand new. + Stock XB9SX ECM computer with roughly 8,000 miles of use. + Stock XB12 ECM computer. Brand new. + Stock XB12 muffler valve cable. Can not be used on the this motorcycle. + Stock muffler + Stock air snorkle + Stock handguards and mounting hardware. + Stock tail section with reflectors + Stock mirrors + Stock front turn signals If you are curious why I am getting rid of this gem, I bought a new toy, a Mazda Miata. $5,000 Negotiable. Please remember the following. Just inspected. Two new tires. Custom parts with all of the original stock parts. PM me if you'd like to take a look at it.
