need to find a thunderstorm or xb top end in good shape..... long story short, i talked my lil bro into buying a buell, and it has been nothing but hell for us... most recently, the exhaust spring broke and it sucked a valve, and munched everything.... even sucked parts across the intake to the front cyl...... dont have alot of money to invest, but need some help...... if anyone out there has some parts they can let me have really cheap, or let me make payments on, i would be in your debt for eturnity.... did i also mention he is getting married in a few weeks? so as i said before money is super tight..... i know how this comunity is, now its my turn to call out for help..... plz. | ||

Do they absolutely have to be t-storm or XB ? I have the complete top end sitting on my bench from my S1 .. complete heads .. (cylinders and pistons too if anyone else needs them) If you are unsuccessful finding what you want - these are here | ||

i have a new set of thunderstorm heads and a used set of jugs and pistons... not super cheap but cheaper than new... 600 for heads (complete and new in box, i paid retail of 350 plus tax each at dealer). and 100 for jugs and pistons. i have other top end stuf ill toss in with the jugs(pushrods and covers, rocker covers, etc) any interesting trades??? could make it cheaper as well. lemme know jh | ||

i am very interested jason, what do u need.... got a spair pair of s2 sideplates, an s2 bodywork set (not matching and minus front fender) a nice air cleaner set up from a hd bigtwin that i adapted to fit the buell and it works great....... flows better than most and i think looks better than the hamcan of the race aircleaner... | ||

I've got a complete engine out of my '98 S1W that has the thunderstorm heads. I'm looking for $1000 for the whole engine, has about 16,000 miles on it. | ||

Hope I don't piss off our sponsors but there's a set of used T-Storms on eBay right now. And there's a regular ad for new heads and pistons for $615. Bartimus' offer sounds like a heck of a deal if you had the cash up front to get started. Sell off the cases and bottom end and tranny.
