What color? I have a brand new Ice White Pearl setup for a 98 S1W, new in the box, never been installed. Tail section, seat, and brackets for the taillight relocation. If you're interested drop me a note and let me know. The decal on the back does say "White Lightning" if it matters... | ||

According to an old P&A catalog I have: "S1 Twintail Kit - Fits: Lightning 96-98" But they list a different kit for S1W. Hm. Maybe the large tank on the W makes a difference? If you get a chance, pull your tail section off the bike and shoot me a couple pics of the front section where it goes under/around the back part of the tank. The frames are the same from W to non-W, but the W may have a different tank "interface" because the tank is so large. Hm. | ||

They will interchange between 96-98. | ||

It's not the 96-98 interchange that concerns me, it's the S1 to S1W interchange that I'm wondering about...W's got the large Manta tank. | ||

They are all the same, the only thing the S1W had was heads over the s1. all s1 stuff interechanges 96-98. | ||
