I ran it on an 88" motor first and it made 177HP, then on a 1250 with a small nitrous shot and it made 187hp.The kit that was for the stock S-2 basically doubled the HP.
And I went way bigger as the turbo was the limiting factor in my search for HP.
Turbos can be added to any bike, you just need to be able to add extra fuel in relation to boost. Aerocharger is excellent choice as it has variable vanes so boost is developed sooner and no wastegate is needed. Oil supply is internal supply so no oil feed lines to run.

Jim, it was not available then, and until just recently I was unsure if I was going to use it on one of my other bikes or on Terry P's Blast.
It was the one I purchased off the snowmobile board and is bigger than the S-2 kit one.It was on a Ski-doo 800 Mach Z ( supposed to make 324HP vs the stock 154) and had a # of 66224N300 in the manual I got.

How bad ass would an XB look with some polished up tube running straight into the airbox.

"What's that for?"

"Do you really want to know?"

FMJ, I have notes with your initials next to a size "101/200(or 250)" I think we went through this before. Does that sound familiar?

Looked to be aprox 41 mm or about 1.62+/-
if you squint just right.
I thought the "hat" height had something to do with it,also???

FMJ ,I think you're measuring the exhaust turbine outlet ID and that number,1.665" is what that measurement should be, shows to be size 250. The compressor inlet ID right before the wheel is more important.

Jim,if you look at the pic of my turbo above,I measured staight down the hole on the chrome side of the unit. My measuring skills are not so good, esp trying to get my cheapie sliderule calipers to transfer the measurement. I had the turbo redone before the rained out season of 2005 so papers filed in good safe place????

Well chrome means you're on the compressor side and the numbers don't match. The closest I have shows its a size 114 , that should measure 1.597" . If its that size its the turbo I'm running now and is a good size for the street.(Unless your greedy!)

Hi, FMJ I can't match that number with the info I have.It could have been bored out but I doubt it. The bore size determines the flow, which determines the correct turbo size for the particular engine and use.The measurement should be taken as close to the wheel as possible. If correct, it seems a good size. I think anyone that has a 1200cc engine or more should be happy with it. I can't swing it myself as many things have come up lately.
