I am slightly bored and looking for a new toy. I decided to put up the Buell for sale. I don't need to sell it, so don't bother lowballing me. I am asking $5800 cash. Here is the description and history. 1999 Buell X-1 Lightning, Limited Edition Race Stripe bike, 5,500 miles, I am the 3rd owner, Blue with white stripes and black frame. Bought new from Calumet Harley, Calumet,IN. 2nd owner bought it from Calumet Harley with approx. 3700 miles on 4-2005 and stored it in his heated garage and put 4 miles on it, always had it covered. I purchased it a year ago and put 1800 miles on it during the summer of 2006. It has the factory race kit installed. Stainless steel race header, Ceramic coated blue, Supertrapp muffler, Race ECM, Screamin' Eagle Cams, Clutch, Forcewinder XR-2 intake w/ K&N filter, (new) Under the tank plastics removed, Rear tire cover removed, Buell Pegasus seat with blue stitching, PM wheels-polished aluminum, Dunlop Sportmax tires (not new), Pegasus bolt head covers throughout bike, Battery cover, Premium fuel and lubricants used, Synthetic oil since day one, fresh oil (Golden Spectro) and fresh K&N oil filter, Primary chain and belt drive adjusted 9-06, New Battery 10-06, Power Commander III new 10-06, not yet installed. Cold Fusion Dry Nitrous Kit new 10-06, use one time. Always garaged, never rode in the rain. Beautiful bike, always gets compliments. Runs, rides and sounds great. Rode to Toledo and averaged 61MPG. Willing to trade for a Typhoon, Syclone, turbo Regal, 94-96 B-body SS or wagon, or a naked bike (bandit, Zrx11-1200, maybe TL1000R). ali11_13 at hotmail dot com for more pics.
