Maybe a little. I picked up my 01 cyclone with hardly any miles for less $$. I think you have to find a guy that REALLY wants an S1, or a collector, or come down a bit. I would love to have it though. |

A year ago i paid $3,300 for a '97 S1 with 24,000 Miles it was a 7/10 if i were to rate it. I hope this helps. |

absolutely too high....you haven't had even a nibble on a very nice looking bike. it is 11 years old. lots of discontinued parts, lots of miles, etc. if you are firm on price, wait till spring, or test the "part it out" waters |

If you would decide to part it out let me know. I'd have a list of stuff i would want off of it. |

I wouldn`t part it out. Thats a nice S1. I can`t remember the last time I saw one on the road that wasn`t mine. But some people might be worried about the mileage. Let them send some offers your way. Be patient. S1Eric |

How quick do you want to sell it? I will be looking for an S1 over the summer. |

KenB I am interested and also live in Jersey. I think you are asking too much as well. There was another S1 here on Badweb that sold at the end of December for $2800. It had 19K miles on it and was a '98. Not saying you need to sell yours for that price but I am patiently waiting to grab one for around $3000. Let me know if you decide to come down. FWIW... The buells are selling better in the local markets. we have a lions share of buells on badweb and were spoiled because they are numerous and they go cheap here. as well as on ebay. try butting it in the local paper or cycle trader. you can also put it up for sale for consignment at the local dealer or at runs and rallies. they still hold their value everywhere other than where the markets not flooded. i have had 2 buddies sell similar buells for 5100 and 4900 recently... both at runs...let a harley guy try it out and youll sell it. ive also called about others that have sold quick in the paper for the asking price (always higher than here). dont get me wrong, i love this board but the sellers market for older bikes isnt in your favor... good luck!
