I have a clean used Showa and front mount from a parted out S2. It is the latest recall, p/n K1400.8, according to my copy of service bulletin B-035A. The bulletin says it will fit '95-'96 S2/S2T and '99-'00 S3/S3T. It may fit other models but I can't verify this. $125 plus shipping I also have an early (thin neck) Showa with front mount. It appears that it may be starting to leak, but I am not positive due to a primary leak on bike. I upgraded to a later Showa while fixing the primary leak so the old one went on the shelf. $20 plus shipping | ||

Spiderman: I will try to get some pics of that early mount to you tomorrow evening. Whatcha gonna do with it? Are you still interested in that S2 swingarm mounting block? Hey would you posibly be able to tell me how far forward the mount hole is on the old style mount compared to the new style. Im having my new style mount cut of above the Y piece, turned around the other way and welded to fit an old white power shock to my X1. Itll probably be done before this arvo but would like to know all the same. Cheers | ||

Thanks, it looks like the fabricator hasnt gotn around to it yet so if he hasnt done it by the time youve given me the measurements hell have something better to work with rather than using the lengths of the shocks. Cheers | ||

Lurchandy: My specially calibrated steel rule indicates that there is 1-23/32" difference in the location of the shock mounting bore when the two mounts are positioned with the engine case mounting bores in the same location. I hope this helps. Tom K. | ||
