so I thought I would try here. Looking for a salvaged bike only, that is not destroyed beyond repair. I am looking for something that is fixable to be able to ride. Anyone know of anyone selling one or where to find them. I have scoured the net/bike salvage yards with no luck. I have expanded my search to the 48 lower states so shipping will not be an issue as I will pay for that. Thanks for the help. John |

Why salvaged only? I've seen salvaged bikes go for amounts on ebay close to what perfectly normal bikes sell for. I guess the chopper crowd really likes the motors and such. If you do go the salvaged route, the 9 will be a bunch cheaper than the 12. sad to say it, but ebay seems the best place to go. or, look in the bikes for sale section and there is an ad for salvaged xb's, but i can't get to the site from my work computer. |

oops forgot to copy the title from the classifieds section. I am only looking for an XB12R. I am looking for a track only bike hence the reason that I am only concerned about the major items being there and in working order. Cosmetics and signals etc.. are of no concern. |
