Just bought a new can and intake and need a Race ECM now for a 2001 X1. Anyone know where I can find one? Dealership wants to charge me $215. Thank you for the help. Matt | ||

Jump on it. One went on e-bay yesterday for about that and it's used from someone ya don't know. Lucky to find a dealership that has one. I buy from Dave Stueves @ Appleton HD 920-757-1651. I had a want to buy post out for a while for a buddy who needed a race ECM with no luck and just bought a new one from Dave yesterday. He goes by Daves Good luck. Alpha | ||

Yeah, I was actually bidding on that one. I e-mailed the guy a question asking if he had a "Buy it now" price and he said $75 and I jumped on it but then he mailed me back and said "No Go" on the deal. Can't blame him though. Thanks for the lead. I'll try to get into contact with him. | ||

Joker... Have a Race ECM for the X1 that is new in the box. I bought it from DaveS as a spare when Buell discontinued them the first time. It's yours for $185 including shipping via USPS. Email me via the BWB email feature in my profile if you are interested. | ||

Joker... Don't feel bad. Building a relationship with Dave Stueve is more beneficial to you in the long run. He is one helluva great guy and deserves all the support we can give him. Hey, look at the bright side. I paid about $215 for the ECM as Dave and Al Lighton from American Sport Bike were buying them up like crazy from the dealers wanting to rid themselves of discontinued parts. LOL Now, that is smart business! | ||

I called Buell and they said the race ecm is not discontinued. I ordered a new one from my local HD/Buell dealer and had it within a week. | ||

X Man... Is there a problem with shipping or something else? If not, I assume you could have had one a long time ago through a BWB sponsor or member, a Buell dealer or ebay. FYI, I decided to keep mine as long as I own my X1. |
