I need to part with a bike so I have the funds to finish up some projects. This is a 1986 Harley FXR. If you are not familiar with the letter designators, it was a predecessor to the current dyna line. This bike is in pretty good shape. Some drips here and there. I am just finishing up putting the newer type gaskets in the top end, that should take care of that. She has Branch heads and a fireball 3 cam. It is a torque monster. I have a couple of different seats, 3 different exhaust(python 2, python 3, and supertrapp 2-1), and a couple of gas tanks (the one on it now and a nicer one). I'm asking $6500. The bike is located in SoCal. I can deliver within a reasonable area. | ||

No takers, oh well. I guess I will have to keep it. Oh Darn. Wife is starting to use the 3-4 bike thing as leverage for her to buy stuff though. | ||

If I had cash I'd be inquiring, if you were talking trades I'd be inquiring. Post a pic of it if you can, you never know who's lurking and holding off until a pic is posted of it. Always nice to see pics of nice bikes. But somehow I don't think you mind keeping it.  | ||

For some reason, your reply is not showing up on the badweb. I think you are the same guy I sent pics to lastnight. Let me know if you are still interested. I will be putting the top end back on this weekend and I will get the other parts out of storage so I can take pics of them also. |
