"This is a genuine Buell product not some cheap knock off from China." Now that is my kind of Advertising copy! |

Cool Seems like most the stuff I find now that is "Made is the USA" is made somewhere else with materials shipped from the USA. I tried buying t-shirts, for the Team Elves, a couple years ago. T-shirts and TV's, AMerican Made, ones are pretty much history. You have me cusious as to who makes t-shirts in the USA. The A&E channel had a thing a couple years ago about the closing of the last Hanes US facility. I also, recently, had occasion to try to find "Union Made" hats and t-shirts. What I found was they are very rare and most that make the claim are smart union members simply buying stuff and attaching the label. |

That's what I thought until I started looking. Reading behind the headlines, I often found union, often ex-union, members simply doing the printing and reselling. In one case, I think it was unionwear but don't recall, they actually went into a long winded explanation of why they weren't union....but hoped to be some day.
