Jim, The muffler cleaned up nicely, you'd never recognise it from the above picture. The header welds were a little trickier, but victory was secured. Great doing business with you. Thanks a bunch. Lawrence |

Sleez, that's cuz stuff in pic is race pipe and can.I kept header as mine was dented--now owned by RoadThing--and I have the stock ones he took off.BTW,you are the second one to point that out.(just a reminder, but I been at this awhile--4 S-2's and 2 S-3's later.LOL) Pictures of parts can be seen here-- http://www.kodakgallery.com/BrowsePhotos.jsp?&collid=138450152205 (Message edited by firemanjim on April 02, 2005) |

Frank, sent reply the same day, here is copy- Frank,S-3's always had the reservoir.M-2 originally had none, unsure which generation Showa it is.Hose is undamaged, just some soot etc on shock that I cleaned most off.I have reservations on these shocks as all 3 of mine leaked eventually.Had one redone by suspension place(Aftershocks) and put a Penske on the other bike.So be warned.Jim. |

Jim I am really sorry about getting in the wreck and hope you have no problems getting rid of the parts we had discussed. If you happen to come across a set of useable/decent condition engine cases please keep me in mind as it might just be easier for me to build the motor up that way as I can buy the individual parts as I get the funds, but mostly I really appreciate that you were willing to work with me on the parts. If your going to the salt later this year, let me know, if I am still off or just on temp work status I would love to come spend volunteer time working crew for ya |

I'm needing a speedo drive. Any chance you've got one kicking around? And sometime this year, but not quite yet, I'll be wanting some S1/S3/X1 cams if any turn up. |
