While driving along bike either starts to bog-down or when I go to give it throttle it bogs down. The engine never dies but I have to push in the clutch and feather the throttle/give it very little gas and then it comes alive again. If i try to roll onto the throttle too hard when its acting up(which is roughly once every 10 minutes of driving) it just dogs way down. I have to sit and play with it for a bit and then it comes roaring to life again. I just changed Das Boot(it was acting this way before and after the change) Where should I start looking for problems?! |

It's not a California model right? Could be a gas tank vent issue. Could also be an ignition module going bad. Those are my first 2 thoughts. |

Any mods to intake or exhaust at all? I know when I was messing with making a pod filter type intake I had that exact issue, I didn't drop in bigger jets, sure it woulda been fine if I did. I went back to stock air box and it runs like a champ now. |

How exactly do you "drive" a motorcycle? |

I just had a similar issue after changing my boot, it was not seated fully on the manifold side. Just a thought |

You slide over on the seat, drop your knee out, lean all the way over, head for the apex and roll on the throttle. That is how you "drive" a motorcycle!!! |
