2004 Blast. To what does this wire attach?

Is your ground connected to the side of the frame? Then that would go to your regulator. Both wires are wrapped and have the closed terminal - so it is one of the two. EZ |

The bike was serviced by a Buell dealer last year. I went to work on it and I found this loose wire. The voltage regulator has its two prong connector and a long thin ground with "rib wrap" (I call it that anyway) and that wire was routed up to the battery compartment, then routed back down to the voltage regulator, and grounded to a bolt for the VR. The wire pictured above- with a larger connector than the ground for the VR, was not connected to anything. QUESTION: apparently it's OK to ground the VR that way, so where would you advice me to ground the above wire? |

Is this a running bike? So the VR is grounded? What is the other end connected to? EZ |
