Got my blast home on Friday, bought a new battery yesterday and tried to start it today. Fired up on starting fluid. Tried gas but got nothing. I plan on taking a look at the jets and boot. Any suggestions? |

Hey Sax. 28 was the high for today here. Was hoping I could get my bike running so I could take a spin around the neighborhood. Going to be -9 on Wednesday. |

Clogged slow jet is very common from sitting. I don't have more time but : DO NOT TAKE THE CARB APART TO "GIVE IT A GOOD CLEANING"! |

I will NOT take the carb apart to clean. I will take the jets out to make sure they are clean. I will also be getting a super boot as soon as I get it running. Then if all goes well, a V & H exhaust. |

Get a Jardine and use the stock front lower mounting instead of what they supply. The V&H sucks. EZ |

Oh, the V&H is not that bad (or even bad) and it's 1/3 cheaper! |

Who is it again that I should contact about a super boot? |

Hey guys what are the suggested tires for our blasts? I need a new back tire SOON. I know there are some that are suggested by EZ but I was not sure what they were. If y'all have a link or something that would be cool |

Concur!! MT75 for stock sizes. (They are OEM and only come in one 16" size). Diablo scooter for a wider rear (140/70x 16) and quicker turning front. ST66 for better mileage wear (but not as sticky as the above tires) and a better 'dirt' tire. I would use the sticky MT75s or Diablos in the front (depending on handling preference). There isn't any advantage in running a high tread mileage tire on the front. All are good and currently top of the line for Blasts despite their low prices. |

http://www.motorbeam.com/bikes/hero-motocorp/2014- hero-hx250r-specifications-price-pictures/ Some stiffer springs, Gold Valve Emulators, a fork brace, a big bore high comp kit, and at just over 300lbs - now that spells fun!!! Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh. I knew EBR would not let us down. EZ (Message edited by ezblast on January 29, 2014) |

Right? - I know - tears of joy!!!! That bike has great potential, and even stock packs more power than the rest of the 250cc street bikes out there. And as a single 4valve, fi - tasty - very much so - heck - it would be so easy to trim more weight from it and bring it under 300lbs without even trying hard. I guess it is true - all good things in time! Way to go EBR and Hero! Coming to an EBR dealership near you soon! EZ The EBR/Hero Bike

Consider that it already also beats the 300cc Ninja and that the motor is set up to go to 350cc makes it even more interesting. EZ (Message edited by ezblast on February 01, 2014) |

http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=281259061093 These are the XB grind cams that bolt right in to a Blast (well 2 of them anyway!) without any timing cup modifications. You will need to cut the valve guides down a little for the extra lift and install better springs. It's a good price and they've come down quite a bit since the original listing. If I had an extra $225 I'd snap them right up! |

Literally the cams the Blast should have come with since all the timing marks are correct too! |

They're calling the little EBR a different name at that link, but I see a lot of other typo's. . The other name is no less ominous though!! Any word yet on price, availability or import? Rather than not buy a Harley and give instead my money to a Japanese company, buying one of these would certainly do one better. Wouldn't it be awesome if it outsold the Blast?!! |
