Ok, has anyone tried to adapt a Hayden M-6 tensioner to the Blast? I *think* the sportster version may fit the Blast's tensioner pivot rod, but am not sure. Any comments? My bike is all over the garage right now, now now would be a good time to experiment |

Before you get one do an exhaustive search on the site here. Either M-6 or M6 should get you plenty of hits. Your mileage may vary, but I wouldn't use one. Not that hard to just adjust the tension/slack from time to time with the stock setup. Do the search, find the wear factor, then decide if it's still something you want to go with. Not saying they're a bad idea, just an odd wear pattern from what I've seen reported on them. |

Haven't read good about those Tensioners in the regular KV - bad yes. The Balance Masters would be the first place I would send my crank, after having it made - if I where prepping for the 44 Mag ;0) - I've read nothing but good about their product - a very trick idea;0) GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

I have a M6 installed in my 98 S1WL with about 11K miles on it. Never had a problem with it but I never seam to have any of the problems most of the guys write about. Just one less thing to have to adjust. I would think it would be great for the Blast. |
