So I could use some help on putting a Tach on my 2004 Blast. I'm looking at this product http://www.jpcycles.com/product/5600266 It's not awesome, and I'd like a white faced tach with a neon orange dial but can't afford one. So I wrote JP Cycles and got this grammatically incorrect sentence: "I think the way the Harley dual fire tach will count this correctly without an adapter." I've been reading the past forum posts about Tachs, and the JP Cycles Nova MMI tach isn't available from them. This seems almost identical from what I can tell. I really can't go for the Westach. This is the best I've come up with and any help would be appreciated. Anyone have one of these or know if I'll need the single fire coil adapter? I don't like the digital tachs either. Anyone have a cheap alternative suggestion? I'm lost when it comes to this kind of thing and any help would be appreciated. |

I did purchase a Tach, but haven't hooked it up yet. It's just been so bloody cold, and I've been busy with work. I also purchased an adapter for single cylinders and a handle bar mount. I might post some pictures if all goes well. I'm a little worried about wiring, but I'll figure it out I guess. |

You want the pink wire for signal, unless it wraps to the plug wire - lol - Be great to see some more working ideas. EZ |

I have wiring diagrams and have been reading lots of advice here on this great forum. Have another problem now I must address. Bike wouldn't start yesterday. I think it's the battery. Still the original. I've had it hooked up to a charger for the winter, but it just makes a clicking sound while trying to start. |
