Hey guys!

I know a lot of people probably say "oh man, I'm going to do X, Y, and Z to my blast, you wait, it's gonna be awesome!!!" - and then never post back, for whatever reason. (Kinda like I said in my first post, lol)

However, I have proof that I'm not that guy!

I got the custom exhaust finished up and installed. Got the EZ Airbox Mod done (no K&N/stack yet, but that's in the near future)

So, anyways, pictures!

Side view - in this picture I hadn't finished painting the muffler adapter (after welding) and I hadn't finished the muffler mounting. It's now complete!

I used a 2" inlet Supertrapp S/C Elite Muffler - it's awesome! Even with only 12 discs in the muffler, it's a lot louder than the stock setup. Combine that with a full 1.75" header pipe, and I bet it flows a lot better too!

If you're curious how I made the system, here are the pictures I took. Anyone with decent welding skills should be able to replicate what I did fairly easily! It's a single U-bend from dynomax (walker) listed on advance auto's webpage as a 1.75" pipe with a 12" radius. Either way, it was just about perfect - there are only two joints in the whole setup (three if you count the adapter to go from the header to the muffler, but I have a secret why that doesn't count/can't fail!)

The section the muffler clamps onto was too long (better too long, than too short!) so a few inches was cut off and the adapter welded to that.

While I was working on it, I installed the motodynamic tail light, and fabricated a custom license plate bracket like I've seen a lot of sport bikes run locally. From the rear, it looks like this now!

What do you guys think??
-Brad

Yeah. Re-jetting to 48/175 is hopefully going to be either Sunday or Monday. Pirelli Diablo's are hopefully as soon as I can convince the wife to let me spend *more* money on projects (I also have the old '77 F250 in the pictures that I'm fixing up, and she doesn't have a lot of tolerance for all the projects at once!)

But yeah - going to the 140 series Pirelli out back is high on the list, and I'd like to upsize the front too!

Just sharing so everyone can see how to do it if they wanted to make their own!
