Hello, I just purchased a used 2003 blast with 2500 miles on it. The bike seems to run great except for the fact that it won't go faster than 60 mph! When i hit 60 and the rev limit in 3rd gear I shift to 4th and just lose all power, its like a cruise control gets turned on. I can not get even close to the rev limit in 4th or 5th which cause me to believe that it is the carburetor. Other than the insanely slow top speed and somewhat affected acceleration the bike runs great. I just changed the oil and added some sea-foam to the gas hoping it would help but nothing yet. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

There is also a sort of back-firing sound that comes from the carb sometimes... if this helps at all
