I bought 13mm helia coils and the spark plug screws into it but its too big for the hole in the head. Bought the 12mm spark plug helia coils and it just slides right in.....am I missing something? What size is the spark plug?

How a Heli coil works is you have to tap the head to a larger size then the Heli coil screws in.
