Three days after I bought it. The carb was so gummed up that it wouldn't do more than idle, the back tire was nearly bald and it wouldn't go come out of first gear. I spent $500 getting it running and road legal again. Why did the idiot I bought it from put 2 stroke in it and then let it just sit for 2 years instead of getting it cleaned? My gas tank was gummed up and the running jet was completely clogged. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/428715_31 29258943794_1034335639_32527475_196840203_n.jpg |

Heres my new exhaust. I got tired of repairing my v&h can.
Heres what it looks like on the bike.
I used my v&h header pipe, and made a 1 into 2 y pipe out of 1 3/4in stainless pipe. I ran it back to the mount for the v&h can and then 45 degree'd the tips out. Its just straight pipes, but not much louder the the v&h was, but a much deeper tone now. I finished it off with 2000 degree flat black paint. Pics arent the best took them with the cell phone, I will get some better ones this weekend. |

I like the dual sport! Having ridden a Blast on dirt, that looks perfect for it (if you like that sort of thing). |

Every Blast that does serious dirt roads for a while gets the same problem, busted mounts, supports, and bolts. Need a different frame and swing-arm for that - even the Dirt-track set ups would be to spindly for daily work, though you could pay 5000 and then have them re-inforce it for a couple grand more - lol -
Rooks comes close -
A true Modern Bobber - street!
Streetfighter/modern Cafe - Street!
This could work - lol

That 710 would dust a XB9 And probably give the 12 a run for its money - speedwise - limited edition motorcycles - made in the USA - my bad, its British - if I remember right - at 295 lbs - CF wheels would be perfect for it - it just purely boogies - corners and straights - lol EZ (Message edited by ezblast on April 23, 2012) |

Gearheaderiko if you were asking where to get the y pipe I used, its a custom made pipe. I just took some 1 3/4inch stainless pipe and made up a y pipe. Luckily where I work we do pipe bends and was able to get some scrap pieces to make this up. Other then having the v&h header I just had a guy cut and welded the rest to make it how I liked it, since I dont weld. Then got a pipe expander and expanded the front to fit over the header. Then cut some slits in it for retightening with a clamp. If you like it I can ask him about making some more. (Message edited by jugallo94 on April 28, 2012) |

Well, I already have an undertail exhaust I do like the idea of running a 1 3/4" Pro Series style of exhaust. I dont have the time to make one, but I dont have the money right now to have one made It would depend on how much he would charge for the adapter, since I have everything else. |
