I believe the holes line up but it doesnt match to the headlight level. But new holes are very easily drilled using a Blast flyscreen as a template. I used to think it bolted right up as we use the S1 race flyscreen on the raceBlast and it "bolts right up". However, I never mounted a stock one with a headlight so I wouldnt know. They use the same size headlight. I may wrong on the headlight level, but if its the same mounting as an S1, the bolts holes are the same and/or it can be made to fit! |

I saw the led rear and now I get it. What's the story on these new pieces? I Like the dichroic glass lights! |

The blinkers are an inexpensive ebay item, the Acerbis front and rear are their new items - with LEDs everywhere - update the bikes looks, adding some clip-ons, bar end mirrors stay, change flasher for the LEDs, cut the tail to fit the lighting, add adjustable levers, a tach - voila - a new moodern look for an old friend - lol EZ |

The stock Acerbis bulbs are 20watts, however, I got spoiled by the running the street legal Acerbis Cyclops, so going back to lower watt bulbs was not going to cut it, so I went to an electric lamp/bulb supply shop, showed it to a guy and said I need this bulb in higher wattage - he had it at 35 and 55 watts, could order higher - I got three - 1 back up - 35watts - much better, really noticeable - bulbs 7 bucks a pop, so actually since I got the fairing at quarter price - a great deal on some really cool lighting. Head light angle similar to CR - like CR bulbs aimed differently from what their looks suggest.
As soon as I finish my last mod for now, I'll try some pics in the dark with the lights on. - of the fairing and tail lights. EZ |

Lights off - only garage door lighting - same lighting - lights on!
Tail - lights off, glow is tach dial - the brakes pulled is the second. regular riding glow is like stock - forgot to take the picture - lol
I am very happy - the look is awesome and so is the lighting, and it is way lighter than stock! - lol EZ |

Just a heads up to anyone looking to pick up one of the acerbis headlight knockoffs like this one. I bought one on ebay, put 35w bulbs in it (instead of the stock 20w) and within 45 min of riding the bike with the lights on, they melted the plastic housings on the headlight. Might be worth spending the money for the real thing. |

Those where not open faced bulbs obviously, they held in the heat with their front lens, because I've already done day rides with no issues - using open face bulbs, and be sure of your wiring. EZ |

The 35w bulbs i put in were actually open face bulbs. I had them wired to the orange hot wire so that i could use the LED's on the hi beam setting (which shut off the mr11's when wired as 'lo beams'). Maybe that had something to do with it? Also just to clarify, the headlight assembly is not a genuine acerbis model, but a chinese knockoff. I figured the quality of the plastic was inferior and thus the reason for the melting. |

I have them all wired on high, and the low switch is off - nice light pattern - I make sure the bulbs are pointed forward, and not at any part of the housing, and a couple of holes discreetly drilled under each bulb area for extra ventilation as well - though I suspect a lot of air gets in there regularly though designed to prevent most moisture - lol - sure you didn't have 45watt 40watt or 50watt in there - 35watt though the old legal limit, still only 10 watts above stock, the Super Sylvania 25watt, are very close in brightness to their 35watt - wierd - my wiring was all one color, that followed true for the good knock-offs, the ones with green and blue wires have sucked, yeah and their plastic was more brittle as well - knock-offs are never a sure bet, but at those prices no one complains - lol EZ |

You have to be careful that the housings are DOT approved, the ones that are not will melt with an 1157 in them...they are made with a cheap thermoplastic. |

Wow - mines still good to go, and they used the thinner Euro wires as the Acerbis uses, no melting so far. Thanks for those pics - I just got home from work - mine work great. EZ |

Or I may slap a 35 watt HID system into the stock Vision HD fairing I have as a back up -
With current 45watt in it - originally bought for another build for a friend - discontinued idea now, EZ |
