lol bastid said with a strong boston accent I still have great love for the Blast but there just isn't enough room for 3 street bikes, 1 Vespa and 3 dirt bikes. Need to thin the herd, unfortunately the Blast and Vespa are not real necessities so they're on the chopping block. Neither is my new track bike but wtf, I gotta have some fun. lol |

"(I'd keep the Blast and pick that which uses the most gas and git rid of that! - lol)" Touche EZ, That's exactly one of the reasons I bought the Blast in late 2007, rising gas prices. Back then the Dems were blaming the Bush Administration for not doing anything about it, and now? Well even though I've tweaked a few things here and there, (I blame all of you on here) lol. I still get 50 to 55 mpg. So I'll be hangin on to this baby as long as possible, probably longer with all of your help. |

Question. I have a 2002 blast and I have a stock exhaust on it. I was riding the other day and I noticed a loud noise. It appears that the welding has come apart on the exhaust. I was wondering if JB Weld would fix this problem? Or am I going to have to get a new exhaust. |

No but a regular welder for twenty bucks will fix it - then check that all your mounting points and straps are tight - usually the straps get loose and need shimming tightening. EZ |

LOL!!! I saw 1300 and assumed it was the price. $2300 seemed so completely unrealistic to my brain that it didnt even recognize it as the price. What happened in 1300 miles to cause such an abomination? Maybe I'm just jealous I didnt get to build it first |

Well, to be fair, there does seem to be a resurgence of the late 60's & 70's style 'chopper' building. Basically taking any (any) bike, throwing a hardtail on it and stripping it down. I've seen a bunch around lately. I dont keep up on such things anymore. I like what I like and I've no time to build anything right now. It will be a cold day in hell however when you see me 'chop' a yamakawahondasuki. |

Any one want to take D_adams, AKA Keda exhaust on his offer. It would be sweet for home to make a quite (slightly louder then stock) but with nice gains. www.keda-design.com http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/630266.html?1304980734 |
