Road Gremlins (Evil Road Spirits) can still here the ringing. It draws them in and keeps them from attacking your Bike. |

Has anyone tried to do a better ram air setup with the airbox mods? The current scoop sort of gestures air into the general direction of the airbox, but it seems one could improve on this by actually getting some proper ducting sealed to the intake. Thoughts or a link to anyone who has tried this? |

Yes - too heavy - will not work with existing regular or super boot - you are thinking a Force type intake - Force ruled it out long ago, even the primo CF edition would offer too much wind resistance and screw the boot - yet if you make the mounting strong enough to withstand the wind pressure, then it is to stiff and the boot still rips - been there, one of the first to try it and find out why it will not work. Thanks for the data - I definitely don't care to try things that have been proven not to work. What about using the existing airbox as the intake for the ram air? Leave the airbox but improve it's flow, and ram air in the left side of the airbox. It's entirely possible that this doesn't net you as much as a good intake straight into the carb, though. |

So throw her into the water, if she floats, she's made of wood and therefor a Witch! And should be burned at the stake. If she drowns she's innocent! A lot of good that does me! pipes up the girl as they carry her away to the river! - Ahhh the good old days of witch burning and and oak dancing! - lol EZ |

Mad magazine did a whole issue on Monte Python and the Holy Grail - I remember those quotes as well as the movie - it was that funny. Best parody though was Bored of The Rings by National Lampoon - a brilliant book that I've worn out three times - only a hundred plus pages long and just one laugh after another - brilliant stuff! I grew up on the sketch comedy of Monty Python (and Benny Hill among names you'd know), but I never really appreciated the movies that much. They were good mind you, I think I just have a short attention span. "Narnia" was about as far as I'd gotten into that genre. Never seen or read any of the "Rings" movies or Star Wars. I'd rather read a manual than a book as evidenced by the fact that I've started reading many of both, but I usually finished the manuals. But I think we've hijacked the front page now with a non-Buell discussion! |

Selling the Blast, not getting the love it deserves. Wife doesn't ride it and I need a track bike. lol Not sure if I want to strip it to stock form or sell it as is. I have a Corbin seat, Buell race exhaust, custom intake, windshield and some other things on it. I'm thinking just selling it as is. Thoughts? |

The Buell "race" exhaust is perhaps the quietest of all the exhausts. Keep the Blast, strip the XB12R. I'd tell you to use the Blast as a track bike, but you've already got an XB.... and I would strip the Blast to stock form and sell off the extras. |

LOL look at all the vultures popping their heads out. Yea I'm thinking of stripping it first and selling it in stock form. not sure if I want to sell the intake/exhaust outright or list it on the bay. I'll sell the seat outright though. Pm me. |

Pro-series exhaust, Dan's/Thumpe's intake system, Corbin CF seat, Blast saddle bags - potentially a very nice Blast. EZ |
