A 10 footer is a bike or car that looks good from ten feet away; it might have some small stuff if you got any closer and looked for imperfections. Sorta like "beer googles" or a "2am-er"...lol Dat one Buell you got is one cherry kine buggah Uncle Buellrida! Like that one matte black footpeg y-frame. |

A virgin. Pics. taken at the St Paul / wild Prairie HD Riders edge booth. Rumor has it they bought up a ton of parts and plenty of bikes to use until HD comes up with a replacement.

So since I live in the middle of nowhere...is this how the Blasts looked towards the end of their "life"...w/o any Buell logo? Or is this how the bikes for the HD Riders Edge class looked? |

Kauai... I think the "BUELL" logo went away when the bike got *CUBED*.. so for a couple years anyway they were just sporting the BLAST logo. |

New bags, courtesy of my neighbor who used to own a tuber back in the day. Virtually unused. An excellent score!

Michigan - such a beautiful place to ride (thinking here Tunnel of Trees) and you are set and ready to pack for the road...so where ya gonna go first? How did you mount them? The saddlebags look better than my first set of Buell sidebags, little bigger - do they have top-openings or side? |

1st thing to do...LOSE the DUNLOPS!!! lol I'm suprised nobody has chimed in with that yet. Bike looks great, how well does the paint stand up to wear? Oh and Welcome to the board. |

I got new tires that are being put on this weekend. The old ones have gotten too worn out to ride. The paint has held up great, a family friend is a sick painter and he did the job for me. Im about to have him do a helmet for me. |

My main ride is a 1974 BMW R90..My dad bought it new when he was in college and has held on to it ever since, and now I ride it, but I wanted a bike since I moved to a small town just north of charlotte, Nc..So I have enjoyed riding a Blast in the past (Didnt mean to rhyme) so I decided to get a nice one. Not sure what next I should do to it, so I am open to suggestions. |

Ditch the Dunlops ASAP! Get a fork-brace - makes the front more stable, especially in bad weather. Looks like a nice Blast - perhaps some super-bike bars as well - would depend on you. EZ Welcome! - lol |

Oh and a cool touch - a chrome timing cover with a bullet hole decal on it - like strafing from a airplane - lol - rule one - never ask EZ what you could do next on a Blast - Final answer - Ride it! EZ |

If ya want idea's on what to do next, just look at EZ's bike and take your pic. Question is how do you ride? Just toolin around town or a bit on the sporty side? EZ's suggestion on the fork brace is a plus if you like to ride aggressively. Did you custom fabricate your dash? |

Concur! Bars and tires! "I got new tires that are being put on this weekend."I do hope that means something else besides Dunlops? If its Dunlops, pay the restock fee and get some Pirelli's (or Avons). Corbin could make you up a nice custom seat too. |

I agree 100% about the Pirellis. As for suggestions...how about removing the rear belt guard/fender? New mirrors? LED tailight? Paint looks awesome! |

Most of my riding is done in the mountains/country of Pa and the same type of areas in Nc. So lots of twists and nice curves..Like I said, this is my first modern bike I have ever owned, Im use to riding vintage BMW airheads. I have thought of a good set of clip-ons and maybe bar-end mirrors (Im a huge cafe racer fan even though I am only 20 and thats WAY before my time but I grew up around it)..and maybe a cafe style seat to go with it |

Cafes rock! & concur with the above suggestions, rear-sets as well, ditch excess plastic as mentioned above - unless you do a lot of dirt roads - lol EZ (Message edited by ezblast on March 26, 2011) |

Whats a good source for rearsets? I called banks today and the lady said they were prob $600 since they dont produce them anymore...any suggestions on where to get a decent set and whats a reasonable cost? And where can I get a chrome timing cover from? (Message edited by ncbuellblast on March 26, 2011) |

Dan/Fast makes a set that looks stock, with or without the passenger arm - I'm sure they are on ebay, American Sport Bike sells the Crossroads style - those are serious pieces though - hi style and durability, a racers tuck - same height/back ratio as the CR - they feel identical, though I get a lower tuck on the CR due to the club-man bars which have dimensions matching the R's clip-ons. lol EZ |
