You've got to contact sponsors directly. The least likely sale is someone posting on a Buell board that they want a part. Its very non-commital. Call them and be ready to pay. That gets it done. Its also very helpful if you already have the part numbers. The less work they have to do, the more likely you'll get a good discount. (Dont forget to ask for a one and mention Badweb!) Some (many?) sponsors have a website you can order through too. Yes, I've double posted this as I think its important. |

The gas coming back out the carb is a simple reversion - don't worry about it. EZ |

Where are you guys buying buell parts these days? I've been so unlucky with the harley dealers in long island area. I've tried a couple places online and the wait time has been insane. I've waited close to 2 months for parts to be delivered. I had to cancel an order with ironmachines.com - after 1 month they notified me that parts were not available. Any info will be appreciated. |

Hey guys, can anyone tell me if it's possible to put the following wheels on a Blast and if so what tire size would it need? Wheel sizes are 17"x3.5" front - 17"x5.5" rear |

Rear wont fit without serious modification. Front might fit, but it wont "bolt right on". |

Ok forget those wheels. I have another question now. I had to drill out the screws in the cap of my V&H SSR2 can. The process did not go well. I redrilled it and used new screws, but today running down the road the cap partially dislodged. Would cutting an inch or so off the end of the can and redrilling new holes be the best solution? I don't have the funds for a new exhaust right now. Also, it looks like the packing material is gone already. What options do I have to repack with? |

American Sport Bike sells a highly thought of packing and yes if nothing is in the way - you could probably do that. EZ |

Quite a few places also sell packing-its not too hard too find-check the exhaust thread for repack hints. I've found that in some cases its just easier to drill out the rivets and repack the can from that end. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/201 64/377480.html?1249298881 (Message edited by Gearheaderiko on June 03, 2010) |

PS It would be hard to get a straight cut on the aluminum can-I'd first try and drill a new set of holes or additional holes, depending on the damage. |

Thanks guys, I'll think about just redrilling it as is, but I may be selling it so I'll have to see how bad it will look. |

Any info on where I can find a rear fender like this. I just bought a 2003 blast to toy with and am looking to customize it a bit.
