I installed a Givi A602 this weekend and wanted to report that its an excellent product for the Blast: it protects well, it goes on fairly easily (once you read the directions), and the parts seem to be high quality and sturdy. |

I installed it, but darn it, didn't tighten one screw all the way, and lost it and a plastic cap. I called Givi ("Jee-vi") directly about buying a replacement and they asked me to fax a copy of my sales receipt, and they it to me- no charge, not even shipping! Once I get it one, I'll put some pictures up. One disappointment, slight, is that the stock photo that is used every where shows the part as being with no printing on it, but it has some words and a small red triangle etched in red on it (and my bike is black with the blue stickers on the tank), so it doesn't match. Photos later. |

Apply hairdryer to sticker then peal off. A little Rustoleum touch up paint for the other odd color and your good. EZ |

Would I need to apply Goof-off or is the hair dryer enough? |

Hair dryer should do the trick - a real hot day and its not nescessary either. Some Novis Polish for residue would do good, heck golf ball cleaner will do good as well - lol EZ (Message edited by ezblast on June 28, 2010) |

Titusand: You will love the GIVI. I put a GIVI A760 on my '05 years ago and then transferred it to my '09. All of them are great designs. I love it most when I am on the highway and it is pouring down rain or when I am riding through a rainstorm of love-bugs |

Another shot of the bike with the Givi A-602. I have the lowered seat and I am 5 foot 7 inches. I get a small amount of the "dirty air" causing somewhat of the "bobble head" effect, but only enough that I notice it only when I pay attention to it.

Looks similar to the Buell windshield with just as easy a mount (?). How'd you get the Black so shiny? It looks brand new. |

Thank you! That is partly the product of the light and shadow, but this is a 2004 which I bought with 162 miles in April of this year. It was then probably the lowest mileage 2004 Blast in the world- not the case any more. I use a spray-on product called S-100, at s100.com. It is a light duty cleaner and plastic polish in one. It's excellent at taking the bugs and light dirt off the bike without using water. |
