Hey all, A few seasons ago - the first week I had the bike - I layed my Blast down and the key broke off in the ignition. It will not come out. I've put over 2k incident-free miles on it since then, but you can start the bike up with a screwdriver, a house key, or even a long fingernail. Now that I want to ride the bike for every day commuting, I ordered a used blast ignition with key. I've connected it and it works perfectly. Trouble is, I can't get the old one off the frame. Even after taking the bars and headlamp off, I can't access the two screws underneath the ignition at all. Especially the interior screw. Any advice? Thanks in advance. |

It usually takes a thin wall 1/4" drive socket to get the 'screws' out. A screwdriver wont do it. Apart from that, I cant see where there would be a problem (unless I misread something in your post). PS Welcome! |
