Bought it yesterday, my first motorcycle - the Blast. I bought it on reputation. I had only ever even seen one once, that was 10 years ago. Even the lady at the DMV hadn't heard of it! I see why its called a thumper. Wow. What do I tell people when they ask "What kind (style) of bike is it?" |

Is it me or does the clutch have a short friction zone? Here I am trying to learn a bike and I squawk the rear tire, and I have stalled it a couple of times. I drove stick shift cars for 15 years and hardly ever stalled it. (Message edited by titusand on March 27, 2010) |

The friction zone is small. Maybe mine is not adjusted correctly but it seems to operate more as an on/off switch than anything else. Good luck w/the Blast. it's a wonderful machine. Chris C |
