I gotta say, the more I look at that 1125 the more i like it, nice bike EZ. I think in black it will be really badass. Also, do you think the 1125's front fender could fit on the BLAST? With that fender and tail/seat, that would make the BLAST look Turbo Caffeinated. |

Is there a website that I could order BLAST parts from? I want to get in my primary this winter to do the shift pawl adjustment and things like that but I would like to have all the gaskets and such BEFORE I start. |

Couldn't Al at American Sport Bike set you up? Worth a call, as his web site isn't always clear on everything. |

OK thanks, I'll try that. I just thought there was a dealership site like Chicago harley/Buell that had all that stuff. |

Thought Id pop in and mention that I spoke with Dan at NRHS and learned that they have set a couple new land speed records last weekend. The Blast went 118 over the last record of 111. He also got 186 or so if I remember correctly on a naked v-twin against fairing bikes. Im currently installing one of thier 1250 kits on my sporty. Just ordered myself an "Ear Cannon" for $37 ($46 shipped) and can't wait to get it. Been thinking about it but this morning on the way to work some broad in an SUV on her phone never looked my way and started pulling out in front of me. I laid on the pathetic excuse for a horn that we all hate and she lazily turned and looked at me and eventually a couple brain cells in her head fired off a synapse and she stopped before t-boning me. That clinched my decision to purchase the ear cannon. Mmmm...138db of high/low air powered train horn. Can't wait to scare some of these brain dead into the land of the living! http://www.aerostich.com/ear-cannon-air-horn.html Johnny (Message edited by JohnnyMac on September 09, 2009) |

Hope it doesn't give the driver a heart attack, and kill anyone they hit. |

I hate waking up to acid reflux in the middle of the night. Nothing like a nasty vurp to snap you awake and leave you in that state. |

Hey everyone, I'm looking to eventually upgrade my camshaft, but I want more RPMs too. How much of my valvetrain will I need to swap out? Springs and seals only? Pushrods too? I know I'll need a new ignition too. |

Hey guys, this is my first post here...but I just bought my first bike which is an '04 Buell Blast. It needed new tires and after searching on the web and the various dealerships, I found a pretty good deal online in case anyone's interested: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/28/394/1080 2/ITEM/Dunlop-K330-Rear-Tire.aspx $76.99 shipped for the stock Dunlop rear tire, not too shabby. |

stay away from the dunlops, the pirelli are better and cheaper. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/31/401/1009 7/ITEM/Pirelli-MT-75-Rear-Tire.aspx http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/31/401/1009 5/ITEM/Pirelli-MT-75-Front-Tire.aspx |

Welcome to BadWeb Mxa! Great choice on the Blast as a first bike, and it looks like you have a great passenger to keep you company on it! (I wish mine was half that cute...) You definitely will be much happier with the Pirelli's than the Dunlops, but they are what I'm sure will only be the first of many things that will be bought for your new Buell Once again, welcome to the Thumper Forum. Enjoy the ride |

Ear cannon? My Stabil Nautilus blows 139db. You'll find a deaf person, though, if you try. |

Welcome Mxa254! Gehofmeister: Flashing your high beam is most commonly used to say "Go Ahead". It will only encourage people to pull out in front of you Just turn your high beam on and leave it on to attract attention and dont be afraid to USE YOUR HORN. Better to risk someone giving you the finger, than for them to have to use that same finger to call for your ambulance if they stick around. |
